THERAPY I WELLNESS
Erica Curry, LMFT
Background:
My journey into therapy was kindled by a deep passion for nurturing loving relationships and fostering self-awareness. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of guiding couples, families, and individuals as they seek personal growth, comfort, and healing amidst life's myriad challenges.
Like the personal growth I've experienced, my therapeutic approach is ever-evolving. I engage in a collaborative process, anchored in curiosity and the belief that my clients are the experts of their own lives. My goal is to help clients uncover this expertise through open dialogue, leading to fresh perspectives and profound insights. This process allows me to empower my clients and honor their authentic selves. I also embrace wellness from a holistic lens by acknowledging healing within the powerful mind, body and spirit connection.
My approach is informed by a systemic framework, with training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and The Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level I. My educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Tennessee State University, followed by a return to academia driven by a desire to help others forge and maintain healthy, fulfilling relationships. I am a proud graduate of Northcentral University, holding a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

It is my honor to walk alongside my clients, fostering a safe, nonjudgmental space brimming with care. Our sessions involve gentle, collaborative conversations that, while sometimes challenging, are always infused with patience, empathy, and grace. My clients often seek support in their self-love journeys, personal growth, life transitions, stress management, women’s issues, and navigating the unique experiences of pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum periods, as well as relationship, marital, and premarital challenges.
My vision for each client is that they find a sense of wholeness, peace, and empowerment that enables them to live authentically for themselves and the relationships that matter most to them.
